Xoloath is a shapeshifting alien sent to Earth as an infiltrator, blending in seamlessly as a human. His true form is a dark-skinned humanoid with a long tail and a telepathic pendant embedded in his forehead. His mission is clear: gather intelligence and prepare for his race’s domination of Earth.

But living among humans has complicated things. Xoloath has grown to appreciate their creativity, resilience, and warmth. Torn between loyalty to his civilization and his growing empathy for humanity, he finds himself at a crossroads.
